A Castle Surrounded by Vineyards

In 2012 seven hectares of vineyards of different varieties were planted next to the Castle with the intention of producing quality wines that express the characteristics of the terroir.

Our project is based on producing 100% single-varietal wines that are a pure reflection of the unique characteristics of the climate and lands surrounding the Castle of Good Love.

Our Varieties

Our wines begin to be made from the vineyard, with exhaustive care of the bunches to obtain a raw material of the highest quality.

Throughout the year we lovingly care for our vineyards and adapt to their needs.

The harvest is done entirely by hand, in which a first selection of the best grapes is made on the plant.

Pinot Noir

With this grape we make Montelvira, a light and elegant wine.

Tempranillo

Also called Tinta del País. Refined and intense color. With this variety we make our Ribera de Cañedo wine

syrah

Syrah to make CBA, a complex wine reminiscent of red fruits.

Sauvignon-Blanc

La Venganza is made with this unctuous and fruity grape. Like all good revenge, it is better to serve it very cold.

Winery

In the winery we make honest wines with grapes directly from our vineyards.

We take maximum care of every detail at all stages of the process to obtain quality wines for your delight and enjoyment.

A few meters from the Castle, already in the winery, we make a second selection of bunches that we are going to use.

In the production process, we use the minimum possible amounts of sulfur dioxide.

We carry out very controlled fermentations at a temperature of around 15 degrees with native yeasts.

The pressing is done in a vertical hydraulic press with slight pressures.

The result is wines that reflect their own personality with very low yields that range around 50 %.

The time spent in barrels by each of our red wines depends on their personality and evolution.

Aged for a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 18 months, the wines are tasted periodically to determine the optimal bottling time.
